Hola New Camera!

Hey there!

I've been wanting to get a new camera for ages and today....I FINALLY GOT ONE!
Went over to Vivo with my parents and cousin to go shopping and on our way back out, we stopped at Best Denki for a bit. And well, since I've been wanting to get a Casio camera, I immediately headed towards the camera section.

I was planning on just getting the EX-JE10 since it's pretty affordable and has the makeup function. But...I hesitated at the last moment. I wanted to get one with a swivel screen to make it easier when taking selca and all. After checking out the different cameras available, I finally decided on the limited edition Casio EX-ZR1000.

The box for my camera

Camera and pouch

Camera with the flip screen~!
Other than the makeup function, there's also different functions and modes like fisheye, miniature, monochrome, pop and more. My mum is also in love with the makeup function, she said that any camera that instantly makes her look pretty is excellent. Hahas. Anyway, I also tried out the night shot, and omg it looks great!! Can't wait to really go out and use this baby~ Hoho

I'll probably be using my cam for any upcoming posts. Other than the back logs, like my Japan trip and Teenage Mission: Gorgeous You finals.

See ya~!

\The Lone Ranger/

HAVE ALL OF YOU SEEN 'THE LONE RANGER' TRAILER YET? OH EM GEE, YOU HAVE NOT?! GO AND WATCH IT NOW! *points below*

Yes, I am spazzing right now. BUT COME ON, IT'S JOHNNY DEPP!!!!

This is oh so true. Hahas. Anyway, I watched the trailer, and I can already see that it's pretty action packed, but, still with a touch of humor. Because, you simply can't have Mr Depp without some laughter involved.

For those of you who do not know what this movie is about, here's a short synopsis. This movie is based on a book with the same title. It is an action-adventure western film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films and directed by Gore Verbinski.  "An American Indian spirit warrier, Tonto (Depp), recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice. These two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption."

And here's more reason to catch The Lone Ranger. It also stars........HELENA BONHAM CARTER! Okay, maybe I'm biased, but don't you think that Johnny Depp and Helena Carter have such perfect chemistry with each other in movies? Like in Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd and Alice in Wonderland. And there's still a lot of other movies.
~One of my favourite OTP~
I'm going to be totally honest here, I'm going to be watching this movie mainly for Johnny and Helena. I mean, the trailer and plot looks great and all, but if it was a different cast, I'll probably end up watching it a few months later online

I'm going to sign off now but do remember to catch Disney’s “The Lone Ranger” in Singapore cinemas this 4 July 2013! For more updates, like the Official Walt Disney Studios Singapore Facebook Page, follow @disneystudiosSG and subscribe to the Official Disney Studios Singapore YouTube Channel!

i.t labels Media & Preview Party

I'm sure all of you fashion lovers know about the new shop, i.t Labels, over at Wisma Atria. So my lovely friend managed to get invited for the preview party on 19th June, and decided to bring me along! (yay~!)

For all of you whom do not know what this shop is about, it is the first official i.t multi-label concept store. It features 9 exclusive brans from izzue, b + a b, 5cm, tout à coup, fingercroxx, Venilla suites, PAGEBOY, mysty woman and AS KNOW AS.

I shall skip the long draggy wall of text about how excited I was to attend this and go straight to the pictures!

Taken at the entrance to the party~

Being the typical us who loves clothes and shopping, the moment we entered, first thing we did was to check the clothes out.

And the shoes. You know, a girl can never have too many pairs of shoes.

Cheyenne checking out some of the designs by b + a b

I almost squealed when I saw these shoes. I died. I swear I just died on the spot. Like high top + wedges + this design. Can someone please buy this for me? ;_;  Not to mention, that added chain, it just added to the overall look of the shoes.

It was pretty much sneaker paradise and Cheyenne and I were just going craycray. HAHAS.

Pastel colours and floral prints are one of the trends nowadays. As you can see, Cheyenne is holding up a pair of floral pants. I've been seeing such designs a lot lately and I really should get a pair of those. Or...at least, break out from my dark colours first.

Both of the following outfits really caught my eye. But, I was more partial towards the dress and jacket ensemble on the right. And what does Rayna do when she finds a outfit she likes? She tries it on! And....it was kind of a disappointment because I couldn't pull this outfit off. 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。No really, I seemed to look awkward in this outfit, so...meh

Back to shoes! Right now I'm typing this post, and I'm still mentally screaming over the following shoes. The designs in the next 3 pictures are by Jeffery Campbell. Personally, I'm still favouring the sneakers. Especially the leopard print one. *_*

Moar clothes. Really, there's more pictures of clothes than pictures of humans. But then again, fashion event~ Clothes plox.

The 'death rider' t-shirt really caught my attention. I apologise for the lighting in this picture as it doesn't show the true beauty of that top. And of course, that white jacket on the other mannequin, it's gorgeous. It doesn't look that flattering on the mannequin, but trust me, it looks great when worn.

And of course, never miss the opportunity to camwhore when faced with a full body mirror. Hoho!

I managed to catch the lovely Jade Seah for a picture. And see that jacket she's wearing, it's the one I was talking about just now! As you can see, it looks great when worn and the black design at the side helps to enhance the figure.

There's going to be more shots of the designs from the different brands. I'm so sorry! But, I can't remember the brand for some of the designs.

The following shots were all taken at the fingercroxx section.

I was seriously in love with this cap. It's so bright and loud and crazy, I LOVE IT! But...due to budget constraints, I was unable to get it. (; T.T)) Cheyenne however, had $100 worth of voucher to spend so she decided to get one of this cap. /jelly much/ It's okay wiby, I still love you.

This whole outfit (other than the stockings duh), is from fingercroxx. Please ignore the price tag at the back of my head, I didn't notice that that was in the shot until I got home. OTL Anyway, this outfit really reminded me of SNSD's I got a boy. And...I ended up getting the tank top (the one in the pic) because it was just too lovely to resist. Besides, it's cheaper than the cap. I sound so cheapskate now.

I also managed to get a quick picture with Daniel Boey. Whoots~!

There was an artist designing and making badges on the spot. Cheyenne and I, of course, requested for a skull design. Must not let my mum find it.

We sat down and took a break from all the walking around and decide to camwhore somemore.

Went back to fingercroxx to also get a tank top for Cheyenne and we saw Chua En Lai, and the usual 'Hi, can I take a picture with you?'. Hahas.

Walked around some more and browsed more clothes and shoes, and I had to go back soon. Took a final picture outside Wisma while waiting for my parents.

Before I end off this post, I would like to say a few more things about this outlet.
Firstly, the interior design is really great. The moment you enter the shop, you can see 2 very distinct sections. On your left, it's where all the colourful/bright coloured clothing are. On your right, the colours are very monochrome with mainly black coloured outfits. Each label has their own section design too, and you can really see the difference in styles.
Secondly, their changing rooms are so awesome. Big, spacious and nice to camwhore in. Hoho.
Thirdly, prices wise. I'd say we get what we pay for, or maybe even more. Maybe working students like me might find them a little pricey, but from an unbiased point of view, it's worth every penny.
I for one, will definitely be paying the shop a second visit.

Once again, thank you Cheyenne for bringing me along. And thank you i.t label singapore for organising such an awesome preview party.

This is Rayna signing off~ Toodles~ <3

Make me pretty!

So last sat, 8th June, I had a day of pampering~

Firstly, in the morning, I went for my appointment at TOUCHE™ Elite over at the Orchard Hotel Branch. Whee~ Had a whitening detox body wrap done. The first time I had that wrap done, about 2 weeks ago, I noticed that my skin tone got visibly lighter, so I decided to do the same treatment again today! The therapist told me that I can get this wrap done once a week so I'll probably do that. Hopefully, all the scars from my eczema will have faded a lot by the end of....July maybe?
The service at TOUCHE™ is really good and all the therapists and beauticians are friendly and professional. They offer a wide variety of services so you should really go and check it out!
Below is the address and contact number for the branch that I went to, and also their website

So, after taking care of my body, the next thing to take care of? ...MY HAIR!
For those of you who know me personally, you would know that my hair is really curly, dry, frizzy and damaged. Basically, everything a girl's hair shouldn't be. There's so many salons and so many different kind of treatments available! So...which one should I go for? After reading several blogs and reviews, I decided to get my hair done at Headlines Hairdressing!
This was my first time at this salon so I was pretty nervous. /le scared of meeting new people o.O/ Anyway, I got Jerry as my stylist (lucky me because I wanted him actually but didn't dare to request). Even though I mainly went to get my hair done, I had so much fun there! Everyone was so kind and friendly and funny! At first I was going to get the MUCOTA treatment since I saw so many good reviews about it, but after a discussion with Jerry, I decided to get the Argon Oil Treatment instead. Which was one of my better decisions!
Before we got started on the treatment, I got my hair cut. I was on the verge of crying since we were really cutting a lot. But, after a while, I kind of felt liberated. So after cutting my hair, we got started on the treatment. The whole process took about slightly more than 3 hours, excluding the time taken to cut, trim and style my hair.
MY HAIR WAS SO SOFT, SILKY AND SHINY AFTER THE TREATMENT! THANK YOU JERRY!
This was my first time spending so much on my hair, but the results were really worth it!
Pictures of my new hair will be up in another post!
Anyway, all of you should really check out Headlines Hairdressing! *go go*

First Post~!

Heya~! After procrastinating for days, months and years, I have finally set up my blog!

However, I'm still trying to get a hang of this, and I'm going to take a while to figure out how to change my blogskin and all. Hopefully, everything will be fixed by next week?

I will mainly be posting my photoshoot pictures, outing pictures, my makeup works and...ANYTHING THAT COMES TO MIND! /warning: lots of random blog posts coming up/  (*´艸`*)

So...goodbye for now and catch ya later~
